Andrew Kellett was recently interviewed by Claire O’Connell for the Irish Times on the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, which was awarded to Barry Sharpless, Morton Meldal and Carolyn Bertozzi for the development of Click Chemistry and Bioorthogonal chemistry. Andrew discussed the significance of Click Chemistry, and how his research group employs the ‘click’ method for the development of novel gene-targeted therapeutics.
